This AppleScript sends via e-mail the contents of text files dropped on it. If a PPP connection is not in place when the Script runs, it will open a connection and then close it when all the mail has been sent. If there is already a PPP connection in place when the Script runs, it will just send the mail dropped on it and leave the PPP connection as if found it. The first line of your text file e-mail messages must be the recipients full e-mail address followed by a return. This will not be seen on the recieved message. The first time the Script runs or if it is double-clicked, it will prompt you for your complete e-mail address, which it will remember for subsequent uses. This Script is designed to work for users with SMTP mail hosts with names like "mail.wherever.com". Maybe it will work with other sorts of set-ups, I don't know.
